Parade Participation Note
The Parade takes place after dark. Christmas-themed decoration and lighting are encouraged, but the Parade lighting requirement is waived for vehicles participating through the Cruisin' Into Christmas Car Show complimentary Parade entry.

Parade Rules & Safety — Check to Acknowledge

All parade entries must follow the designated route and maintain a safe speed and distance from other entries. No stopping along the route except as directed by parade marshals. Sound systems and music are encouraged at a reasonable volume. Christmas on Main of Lamar reserves the right to remove any entry for unsafe behavior. • All motorized entries must be properly insured where required, and each driver must hold a valid driver’s license permitting them to operate the vehicle listed on the application. Drivers must maintain a safe operating speed at all times, keep headlights on when applicable, and avoid erratic driving, sudden stops, or unsafe maneuvers. Passengers must remain seated or in a secure position on floats and other motorized entries at all times. • All parade participants must check in at the staging area by the lineup time listed on your confirmation. You will receive your lineup position and any final instructions at check-in. Late arrivals may be placed at the end of the parade or denied entry.

Car Show Rules & Participant Agreement

Please review the following Car Show policies and acknowledgments carefully. These requirements help us keep Main Street safe, organized, and enjoyable for participants and visitors.

Weather / No Refund Policy — Check to Acknowledge

The event is scheduled to proceed in ordinary rain or inclement weather unless Christmas on Main determines that conditions require cancellation, postponement, or other changes for safety or operational reasons. Registration fees are NON-refundable because of rain, weather conditions, or an applicant’s decision not to participate. If Christmas on Main cancels the event entirely, the separate event-cancellation policy will apply.

Car Show Rules & Safety — Check to Acknowledge

All vehicles must remain in their assigned space for the duration of the show. Vehicles must be in safe, non-leaking condition. No burnouts, revving, or excessive noise. Sound systems may be played at a reasonable volume. Christmas on Main of Lamar reserves the right to remove any vehicle or participant for unsafe behavior. • All participants must check in at the registration table upon arrival. You will receive your class assignment, parking instructions, and dash placard at check-in. Please arrive by the time listed on your confirmation. • Once parked, vehicles may not be moved until the car show has officially ended and the area has been cleared of pedestrian traffic. No vehicle movement is permitted during the festival.

Photo / Media Release — Check to Acknowledge

By submitting this application, I authorize Christmas on Main of Lamar to photograph and video record me, my staff, booth, vehicle, or parade unit during the event and to use those images and recordings in event-related promotional materials, social media, website content, and press coverage.

Application Policies — Check to Acknowledge

Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. All applications are reviewed by the event committee. Christmas on Main of Lamar reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion. • Registration fees are non-refundable after an application has been accepted, including cancellations or changes due to weather. This is a rain-or-shine event, and no refunds will be issued because of weather conditions. If an application is declined by the event committee, the registration payment will be refunded. • If the event is cancelled by Christmas on Main of Lamar due to circumstances beyond its control, registered participants will be notified and offered a full refund or credit toward the following year's event at the organization's discretion. • Christmas on Main of Lamar reserves the right to waive or adjust registration fees at its sole discretion. Fee waivers are issued on a case-by-case basis via promotional code and do not establish precedent for future events. • I certify that all information provided in this application is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that providing false or misleading information may result in denial or revocation of my application.

Hold Harmless Agreement — Check to Acknowledge

I release and hold harmless Christmas on Main of Lamar, its officers, directors, volunteers, sponsors, the Town of Lamar, Darlington County, and their representatives from claims arising from my participation, except where prohibited by law.
